- Due to feudalism, There is never men , women equality in chinese society. women can hold up half the sky means women are expected to do at least 2 jobs at the same time. Career, take care of kids, and the in-laws. They are expected to work outside and inside. "It is really degrading to women, work like slaves. The beneficiary is the husband and his family. it will be equal when the husband can work the same, 2 jobs at the same time, do house chores and take care the kids.
