It is perfect natural that our opinions will be some different between genders, ages and backgrounds among all of us to the (hi)story happened between Zhang and Xu and all persons involved closely intermingling with their love to either of them during their life 90 years ago.
One thing is pretty sure - any part of it, told or untold won't 再出现 in the complicate society and world today as our original author wish.
