- Nice engineering design. VTO war planes are very good designed machines for dog fight. It works better than jet engines in dog fights. The Brits shot down around 30 Argentinian jets without losing any of their own VTO at battle for Falklands. It proved they have great value for war. Wondering why the Brits stop making them any more. Maybe due to the cost and harder to fly. China should make some. They are good. mak
