It wasn't too Bad

“How are you doing?” the casher asked

“Fine, thanks” I answered as usual.

Actually, I wanted to say that my day hadn’t gone anywhere yet.

First of all, I forgot my 11 o’clock appointment completely, until I received a call from them. I felt worse because I’ve done it again.

Second, I locked myself out of my sister’s house while I supposed to secure her gate when they are gone on vacation. Then, looked at me, standing outside in the cold rainy and windy weather with all the keys including the spare key of the house sitting inside, as well as my car key, my purse, cell phone and my shoes. I was so freezing cold, my jacket wasn’t in the house, but locked inside my car. At that moment, I found myself totally lost my mind and helpless.

Thank God, while knocking at the second door it was opened, a Hispanic worker let me borrowed the house phone to call a lock smith, and let me wait in the house for 45 minutes while she was cooking. By the way, I think I’ve learned how to make Fajita meat with tomatoes, onions and jalapenos. See, it was too bad.

Finally, the guy came and did the most difficult work ever (according to him) to finish the job. It cost me $150to discover that my sister has a pretty good quality lock for the house. Hope I’ve learned my lesson too.

Most of the day just passing by like that, the good thing is that I’ve completed my to do list for the day. See, it wasn’t too bad.
