"For you, a thousand times over". This line echoes twice in the movie The Kite Runner. It is amazing how does it touch your heart and beyond words. And there is a poem I've loved as well, don't know the name of it, but here you go:
If we come to sleep, 如果我们睡了，
We are his drowsy ones. 我们就是他沉静的宝贝。
And if we come to wake, 如果我们醒了，
We are in his hand. 我们就是他手中的宝贝。
If we come to weeping, 如果我们哭了，
We are his cloud full of raindrops. 我们就是他那雨点形成的云彩。
And if we come to laughing, 如果我们笑了，
We are his lightning in that moment. 我们就是他那一刻的闪亮。
If we come to anger and battle, 如果我们愤怒争斗，
It is the reflection of his wrath. 那是他的神谴。
And if we come to peace and pardon, 如果我们平和宽容,
It is the reflection of his love. 那是他的爱.
Who are we in this complicated world? 在这个复杂的世界上, 我们又是谁?
