謝天鴻教授簡介

　　謝天鴻﹝原名：國闖、字致遠、號江北逸人﹞，字愧閦、號不鳴行者。筆名聖鴻、愧者、閦工。幼習繪畫、篆刻，家學淵源。遍臨古今名作，得師造化。二十八歲即為教授。在湖北深得曹立庵、鄧少峰、黃亮、吳丈蜀等大師賞識，曾任鄂州書畫院院長，深圳龍華藝術館館長，世界書畫家協會加拿大總會副會長。三十歲後始遊歷、遊學、辦展於日本、加拿大、巴西、德國、義大利、法國等二十多國。其作品被諸多國家藝術機構、收藏家、驻外使馆、總統府收藏，響譽中外。

　　四十歲客居泰國，皈依佛門。研究人生宇宙、哲學、倫理、文學、藝術之真諦，融會貫通。其藝術境界，高古拙撲，渾厚華滋，洗塵脫俗，飄逸閒適，意趣天成，超凡入聖。大師深居簡出，不喜攀附，不趨時媚俗。為人直語，樸實可親，聲名遠揚。深得世人讚歎和敬仰。出版有：《謝天鴻彩墨畫精選》2001年泰國佳士得拍賣專集；《謝天鴻彩墨畫精選》/動物畫專集；《荘禮文/謝天鴻合作畫選》；《謝天鴻畫集》中、英、泰文版；《謝天鴻繪畫經典》中、英、泰文版等。是世所公認的國際實力派藝術家。

謝天鴻教授現為：世界書畫家協會加拿大總會副會長；海外中國美術家協會籌委會副主席；國際實力派藝術家協會副會長；泰中友好關係協會常務理事；加拿大多元文化大學藝術學院終生教授；泰國國立籃甘杏大學國際文化交流中心教授顧問；中國嶺南國畫學會副會長；泰中藝術家協會常務顧問。泰中藝術家联合会常务理事。

A brief introduction to Professor Xie Tianhong

　　Xie Tianhong﹝originally known as Xie Guochuang ), who has been living in Thailand since 2000, is a famous artist both in China and abroad. Professor Xie learned painting and seal cutting during his childhood and carried with him the long and extensive academic tradition from his family. With his own hand, he copied a great deal of masterpieces by ancient and contemporary painters and calligraphers and got valuable knowledge from his tutors. He was conferred professorship when he was just twenty-eight. While in Hubei province he was deeply appreciated by painting masters there such as Cao Lian, Deng Shaofeng, Huang Liang, Wu Zhangshu and so on. He once was appointed dean of Ezhou Arts Museum，director of Shenzhen Longhua Arts Gallery, vice chairman of World Painters and Calligraphers’ Association (Canada headquarters). Professor Xie Tianhong started his travel and lecturing tour after he was thirty years old and held art exhibitions in more than twenty countries including Japan, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Italy and France. His works, well-known both at home and abroad, are kept by many countries’ art institutes, embassies, presidential palaces and collectors.

　　When Professor Xie was forty he sojourned in Thailand and was completely converted to Buddhism. Since then he has engaged himself in exploring the essence of life, universe, philosophy, ethics, literature and arts，well digesting it and completely soaking into his head. His artworks reach a point which displays elegance，primitive simplicity like a jade in the rough, vigor and splendor，transcendence and purity，grace and calm，in a word, his works bring us into a supernatural realm created in a quite natural way. Master Xie lives a secluded live. He neither has any interest in social climbing nor follows the fashion to curry favor with the secular world. He is frank to everyone he meets and very easy going. He has been received as a masterful painter internationally and praised and respected worldwide. His published works include: Best Water Color Paintings of Xie Tianhong-specially for Christie’s Auction Thailand 2001,Best Water Color Animal Paintings of Xie Tianhong, Selected Paintings jointly by Zhuang Liwen and Xie Tianhong, Collected Paintings of Xie Tianhong-in Chinese, English and Thai, Classics of Xie Tianhong’s Paintings-in Chinese, English and Thai.

　　Now professor Xie Tianhong acts as: vice chairman of World Painters and Calligraphers’ Association (Canada headquarters),Vice Chairman of Organizing Committee of Overseas Chinese Painting Artists’ Association ,Vice Chairman of International Masterful Painters’ Association,  Standing member of Sino-Thai Friendship Association, Lifetime Professor of Canadian Multicultural Arts College , Professor and Advisor of International Cultural Exchange Center of Ramkhamhaeng University (Thailand), Vice Chairman of Lingnan Classic Chinese Painting Association, and Standing Art Advisor to League of Thai and Chinese Artists, Standing member in Union of  Thai and Chinese Artists, etc.
