"当日,在青海省海北藏族自治州门源回族自治县境内,一辆满载秸秆的拖拉机行驶在一条公路上,几乎看不到司机,顶上还坐着两个人,实在太危险了"。
I don't think the reporter's comments did justice to the wisdom of the tractor driver at all. Put yourself in the driver's shoes (or seat, more precisely), do you want to drive that tractor alone with nobody on top informing you the direction and balancing the massive fluffy bird's nest? I bet you don't. The only tricky question, though, was how they decided who was the driver and who were the navigators? There was no easy option here because while the driver only had "the tunnel vision", the navigators were having their lives hang in the balance. Maybe, they had to toss a coin to decide their positions (and their lot).
