【译者案】本人於2010年圣诞节前，在新西兰奥克兰市的网络上观看了加拿大现代奇幻电视剧《妖女迷行》(附有中国某翻译公司所翻译的中文字幕)。我只看了1-8集。后查阅互联网Wikipedia自由百科全书的英文介绍条目，却没有中文翻译。特在圣诞新年期间，抽暇将之译为中文，作为自己在2011年初，也是中国农历庚寅虎年之末的一份网文礼物，献给中国和海外的广大网友，特别是侨居英语国家(英、美、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等)的华人朋友。并欢迎网上的好友对此译文进行讨论和交流。鉴于Wikipedia本身是在网上向广大网友免费提供的《自由百科全书》，所以这篇译文也只保留本人的中文翻译的署名权。欢迎网友们作非盈利的学习性转载。后面附有原来的英文，以便网友讨论交流。
