    Miss California, Carrie Prejean, she was asked by gossip columnist Perez Hilton, one of the judges, during the Miss USA pageant.Perez asked Carrie, "Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?"
Carrie answered:"I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman." with a mix of boos and applause Carrie continue said:" No offense to anyone out there but that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be between a man and a woman."  Perez gave her a zero for this answer. "She lost it because of that question," Hilton said Monday. "She was definitely the front-runner before that." Carrie's answer cost her the crown - at least according to Perez. Intolerant of people who don’t agree with him Perez got so angry that he made a video calling Prejean the dumb bitch, and said he would have gone up on stage if she won, and snatched her crown off her head, then he would have run out the door. Well, a gay activist who was in the audience actually got into a fight with Miss New Mexico’s mother in the hallway after the show.The mother of Miss New Mexico USA argued back:"In the Bible it says marriage is between Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" That’s a fact. The Bible can’t be rewritten. We still respect differing opinions, even gay's, when he’s not shouting in a person’s face who disagrees with him. We prefer civil debate. The controversy today is Miss California, who was the front runner going into the Miss USA pageant, became the first runner up, losing to Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton, all because her beliefs were not consistent with the gays who organized the pageant. But the 21-year-old told the congregation that she has no regrets.“I don't take back what I said. No way I wasn't going to stand up for what I believe in,” she said:“We have to be strong and true to our faith and our beliefs.”She told MSNBC’s 9 AM hour last week, “I can only say to him [Perez] that I will be praying for him. I feel sorry for him, I really do. I think he's angry, I think he's hurt. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. He asked me specifically what my opinion was on that subject and I gave him an honest answer." Pastor McPherson asked what she would say to Hilton if he were there right now, she answered: “I’d tell him he needs Jesus.” I think she tried her best not being too offensive while staying true to her beliefs. This judge seized the opportunity to
advertise himself. Because he didn't give a fair, easy question to her as he gave to the other contestants.  No one should try to blackmail anyone into saying a scripted answer with the threat of losing the pageant, but that’s what happened. I support Prejean and I think she is a brave and honest girl. In my heart She is the Miss of American with inner beauty.

Perez Hilton: He is a gay, Rolling Stone named him "The Queen of Mean".  He spouts hate every day on his site, cutting people down for what they wear, the decisions they make in their personal lives and even how they look. He spreads rumors and ruins people’s reputations. He doesn’t do this because he believes in it or was raised to believe in it; he does it to make money and become the exact celebrity that he tears apart day after day.
