200多米高、57层的摩天大楼，竟然在短短19天内建成。这是中国湖南长沙市的一栋名为“小天城”的摩天大楼，由长沙远大集团在19天内兴建完工，“长沙速度”引发英国媒体的讶异，其超乎想象的速度让西方读者乍舌。有人说，在英国，要拿到市政府的建筑许可证就得也用2年。另一网民说，英国人造一只停车场也得花半年。还有说，让水泥干也不止19天奈。
据英媒报导，中国湖南长沙市“小天城”摩天大楼建体高度达200多公尺，建筑总面积18万平方公尺，设有可容纳四千人的办公区、还有800户住家商品房，另外包括19个室内楼高10米的大会议厅。
长沙远大集团在介绍时表示，“小天城”采用可持续建筑材料，大楼外墙采用多种特别技术，各种节能减碳的效能比一般建筑节省80%。之能够在短短19天内建好，主要是因为其采用“组合式建筑”，建材全都是事先量制好的，再用堆栈积木的方式快速组装。远大集团的一建筑公司日前发布的一段视频清晰地显示，整个浓缩在4分钟的建筑过程视频中，观众们看见从打地基开始，逐层组建到封顶过程的完整呈现，因此在全球网络上引起热烈讨论。
而报导说，中国媒体将视频名为“一天三层 中国新常态”，这个“小天城”建筑项目位于湖南长沙市郊。由1200名工人昼夜24小时开工，一天确实能盖三层。据悉，该项目原本计划建97层高，但由于太靠近机场受楼高限制，在停工一年后改为57层。2011年，该公司曾在15天內盖起一栋30层高的大楼。至今安全无恙。
