Learn about the languages and life ways of Native Americans statewide, with delightful kids activities given by Juliane Monroe, History & Art volunteer at the Oakland Museum and Peralta Hacienda Board Member.

Oakland, California's Prisons and the Geography of the Heart
Peralta Hacienda is starting a project to document the effects of mass incarceration on our community in Oakland. From now through October 2015 we hope to create healing through community, interviews, an exhibit, art and writing workshops.
以上就是我在上周六下午听的有关历史讲座，接下来的每一个周六下午同样时间，还将要安排六，七次活动。免费学习和了解美国暨加利福尼亚州的历史，更重要的是可以带孩子来参加学习，培养下一代从小懂得人类社会和历史是如何进化发展，以及我们大家的美好生活要靠知识和力量，靠顽强拼搏精神和努力工作才能得到。活动自始至终有负责照顾陪伴儿童的工作人员，使家长可以安心自己的学习。
记得过去我曾经发过一篇图文介绍有关加州最早的印第安人移居生活的发源地，南北加州共有二十多个遗址保留完好。庆幸的是这个公园Friends of Peralta Hacienda Historical Park离我现在的住地只有千步之遥。
