CHAPTER ONE: DARKNESS IS AROUND US
Julia, a well
behaved girl was typing away at her computer. Suddenly, Julia had the urge to
go to the restroom. As she walked down the hall she made it to the bathroom. As
she was opening her bathroom door, a cold blast of air greeted her.
A chill
went down her back as she entered the
dark room. Frantically, searching for the light switch Julia heard a low evil
laugh.
“Heh, heh, heh.”A
low menacing voice whispered.
“Wh-who’s
there?”Julia asked frightened.
“Hello,
Juliaaaa.”The voice said as it became louder as it spoke.
Forgetting to
use the bathroom, Julia ran out of the scary room. Almost tripping over her
kitten, Lulu, Julia ran down stairs looking for her mother.
“Mom?”Julia whispered.
Julia peeked
into the living room finding out that her mother was not home. She ran outside
searching for help. Julia saw the soothing scenery of the sun setting which
made her calm down.
“Help! Help! My
mother’s not home and I heard an evil voice in my restroom!”Julia yelled
frantically.
Eyes darting
from one place to another Julia searched the neighborhood for her mom.
“Someone,
please, help me!”Julia dropped to her knees.
Mrs. Oliver,
Julia’s neighbor walked over to her looking concerned.
“What
happened?”Mrs. Oliver spoke in concern.
“MY MOM’S NOT
HOME AND I HEARD AN EVIL LAUGH IN MY BATHROOM!!!”Julia cried on Mrs. Oliver’s
shoulder.
“Don’t worry
dear, we’ll find her.”Mrs. Oliver said soothingly.
“I hope we
will.”Julia sobbed.
“How about I let
you stay with me?”Mrs. Oliver asked her eyes sparkling.
