I am deeply troubled by Liang's case. The severity of his sentencing can be as long as 15 years for second-degree manslaughter along with four other counts that were convicted.

Unfortunately, there is clear evidence that he was tried by the court of public opinions. And he has become the scapegoat for NYPD. The legal system has run its course.
I believe as Chinese American Community, we need to rally behind Liang and his family with all that we can do for him to have a fair and appropriate sentencing at the very least.
Like I said before, The strength and unity can only be found in Chinese American community when we act and voice "As one".
