道德经 77 章：富愈富穷愈穷
天之道，犹张弓舆，高者抑之，下者举之；
有余者损之，不足者补之。
天道损有余而补不足，人之道则不然，损不足以奉有余。
孰能有余以奉天下，唯有道者。
是以圣人为而不恃，功成而不处。其不欲见贤。

现代汉语说法：
天下的规律，就如拉一张弓，高的一端压低，低的一端抬高。
有多余的，减少些。有不足的，添补些。
天的规律就是减少多余的来补充不足的。人群的规律则不一样，从穷缺的人群中拿取，来奉献给富足的人群。
谁能以富足来奉献给天下？只有那些有道的人。
因而，圣人做事，但不自傲，事成而不居功。这是他不贪欲而成名流芳。
The law of haven is just like drawing a bow. The higher end of the bow is bended down, the lower end of the bow is raised up. For the muchness, it takes some away. For the neediness, it adds some on.
The law of heaven takes the muchness to supplement the neediness.
The rule of humans is not like that. It takes away from the neediness and give that to the muchness.
Who can take the muchness to contribute to wealth of the world under the heaven? Only those who have the law in mind.
Therefore, the sage do the things but not hold the things. When the thing is completed, he is not staying on it. He is being a fame with no desire.
