道德经 第六十七章
天下皆谓我道大似不肖。
夫唯大故似不肖。
若肖久矣其细也。
夫我有三宝，持而保之：一曰慈，二曰俭，三曰不敢为天下先。
慈故能勇，俭故能广，不敢为天下先，故能成器长。
今舍慈且勇，舍俭且广，舍后且先，死矣。
夫慈以战则胜，以守则固。天将救之，以慈卫之。

如果舍弃慈爱而要求勇敢，舍弃俭朴而要求广积，舍弃后面而争取前头，只能走向死路。
所以慈爱用来指导战争能够胜利，用以指导防守可以保固。以慈爱来守卫，将获得天时地利人和的救助。

The first one is loving. The second one is saving. The third one is never being the first in the world.
Loving brings you brave. Saving brings you wide accumulation. Not being the first helps you develop your leadership.
Abandoning loving but looking for brave, abandoning saving but looking for accumulation, abandon the after but looking for the first, will lead to dead end.
Therefore, Loving is the guide to win a war. Loving is the guide to keep firm in defending. Defending by loving will win the help of the heaven.
