Comment about the short movie below:
I know what this feels like, my mom died 6 days after I was born...the sad thing was she was so infected, she never got to hold me.
She pointed to a picture of me by her bed, because she couldn't talk, but she wanted everyone to know she had a baby girl.
I live without it just fine, but the thought that it happened gives me chills.
I live with my grandmother know because my dad can't raise me, he made so many mistakes and married a women who abused me.
I'm doing better these days though.
I love this and I'm glad to see Simu & Tina doing this! Jung as an Appa is one of the best things ever! But also, I really like the approach of a new version of an "Asian mum". An Asian mum's love shown through a different way of communication. A great contrast to Wong Fu's video, "What Asian Parents Don't Say.." but with a key for endless amount of tears and love.
I purposely play this video for my wife since she gets emotional easily, but jokes on me....I tear up as bad as she did too......the dad cd part really got me.
This was a beautifully written/performed masterpiece (especially the absolutely adorable daughter) and had me teared up right until the utterly unnecessary and comedically awkward insertion of the LGBT narrative which absolutely eradicated all credibility and took away any realism from this short film. Pity.... I stopped watching immediately
