Basketball game at night and being hungry （近似双语）

英语课上做调查，看看下学期要增加什么课程或者活动，我填了乒乓球俱乐部，因为我希望我的乒乓球俱乐部能发展成学校的一个TEAM.中午下了大雨，球打不成，吃饭时还只能站着。食物还是一样，但是今天觉得尤其难吃，难道他们就只能给汉堡比萨吃吗？电影课上我玩DODGEBALLS，给自己取名TRUMP，结果干掉了所有来挑战的人，一下就升到九级了。真是少有，今天是TRUMP就任总统的日子，果然不一样啊。ANTHONY和我们一起去陶瓷课做陶器。他去年就上这个课了，所以是个高手了，还现场做了一个陶锅。4：45我们去体育馆参加篮球赛，啦啦队的美女们跳舞开场。篮球队员们不知道是不是觉得特威风，一开赛就有啦啦队和乐队助兴。

    In English, the survey was much shorter than I expected, actually, there’s only one question: If our school can develop one program next year, which one would you like to see? It was multiple choice question, like athletic teams, mathematics program, robotic, or others. I picked the others, and I filled in “Ping Pong Team”, you know, my Ping Pong club was just a club. I really wished that it’d develop into a team for the school.
    After the class, we went to the gym for the “Rally”, an event of our school, or the competition of the sports teams: Boys Basketball team, Girls Basketball team, Boys Wrestling, and Girls Wrestling. The game was simple, they just needed to do gift-wrapping! And Girls Wrestling was the final winner. And last but not least, our band played the song “San Dimas Alma Mater”, the song of our school. It showed our school spirit to everyone in presence.
    It was raining cats and dogs at noon, so we didn’t get to play Ping Pong. Worse, I didn’t even have a place to sit for lunch anymore! So, I had no choice but to stand while eating. The lunch was just same old that I felt disgusted of it, couldn't they have anything other than burgers and pizzas?
    In Animation, Mr. Murray was not here, so we were free in the period. I played the game “Dodgeballs”, and I named myself “Trump”! I felt so excited because a lot of people might be picking on me, but you know what? I killed them all! And I leveled up to 9! It’s really rare to reach such a high level. After that, I cut off the game and went back to work, you know, the short movie project. I learned how to use “Flash 3”, the app for animating and film-making, properly.
    After school, I went to the band room for the warm-up before the basketball game. There were only 12 people who were willing to join the game, including me. We needed to review those cheering music sheets, so we had to sort them out. It took us more than half an hour. AFter that, we took off to practice. AT 3:30, it was break time, so we were off the hook for now. I didn’t find myself being hungry, so I didn’t try to ask anyone to show me the way to the restaurant. All I ate was a “OhYes” chocolate cake.
    Anthony and Adam went to the Ceramics classroom to experience making pottery. You know, putting the clay on a spinning wheel, and you form it with your hands. Anthony was in this class last year, so he’s an expert He showed us how to make a pot properly, but he destroyed it afterwards. Fortunately, I got to take pictures of it. I really had a good time in there. It’d probably be even better if I tried it too.
    At 4:45, we were wrapping things up and heading to the gym for the basketball game. The gym was huge, and there were already some people sitting there, what’s more, the Girls Basketball Game was about to start. We stood on the bench, and prepared ourselves with the music. I took some pictures of the game, including the cheerleaders there. I didn’t know that the basketball players enjoyed the privilege of having both cheerleader and the band for their support!
    The victory belonged to our school, the final score was 49:22. There’s a big difference of skills between our team and the opponent school’s team. We had 15 minutes of break, and after that, the Boys Basketball game would begin. I spent this time eating some of the chocolate cakes, and I shared it with Anthony too. It felt really wonderful to share with my friend.

    During this break time, there’s an entertainment for audience: The Dancing from the Award-Winning Dance Team of our school. They were all cheerleaders, actually. The performance was fantastic, and I recorded the video. It was 2 minutes long, which took a lot of space of my phone. I’d better save it in the computer or I’d have to delete it.
    The Boys Basketball game didn’t have much suspense due to the difference of the skills between the two teams, the final score was 62:42. I noticed the opponent’s players liked to shoot 3-pointers, which was really risky because it depended on your accuracy. What’s more, you must have players under the basket in case the ball didn’t get into the loop. However, they didn’t, so our players rebounded a lot of times, which led us to the victory.
I spotted Mr. Mel, the elder who played tennis with me before, was watching the basketball game too. I chatted for him with a while, and I asked if he wanted to play tennis tomorrow, but he had a dentist appointment tomorrow. At first, I didn’t understand what he was saying, I thought he said that his family would go on a field trip tomorrow, so I responded, “Nice, a field trip!”. I felt really embarrassed of it! Lacking of hearing skills really set me in a difficult condition!

I asked Anthony if he could give me a ride home, and he said yes. It was nice of him to get me home. However, after I got home, I suddenly felt depressed. This game was not what I expected, it wasn’t any fun to me, actually. My band friends were sitting behind me, I wanted to sit with them, but there’s no space, so I had to sit in the front. When they were chatting, I wanted to listen, but I couldn't even catch 30% of it! I didn’t know why they were laughing, what’s so funny? I felt really sick to be isolated from the group! The thing that made me more sick was the hugging between them. I mean, I wanted to join, but I just couldn't experience any of it!
