有一位钢琴技师说重建钢琴榔头一定要带着制造钢琴的思维去做，而不是简单的榔头修复或者更换……。遗憾的是我现在经手的这台shitanwei B211 钢琴榔头的重建没有这样思路，导致客户埋怨和遗憾的同时也让我感到责任和压力。
确认目标就是在保留能量的同时消除杂音和噪声，最大极限的涉及针刺位置——深针刺，寻找最小限度的针刺数——则必须在打击点上针刺……使用定音静音楔和强奏测试来确定哪些弦的音是嘈杂的。通过多年纽约施坦威钢琴的调音及整音经验我认为，对一套新弦槌进行整音，有多种途径使其符合钢琴和客户所需。为了弥补弦槌制造和设计上及重建过程中与钢琴不匹配，适度使用各种整音环节及程序最终达到理想的音色。
贝多芬的作品《悲怆》的慢板（Adagio cantabile）乐章是整首曲子最为著名的部分，以悲伤、深沉的旋律为特点。它以柔和的钢琴演奏和弱弱的音量及音色开始，然后在旋律上逐渐加强达到高潮，接着又逐渐减弱。通过整音后弹奏这架施坦威钢琴的音色出现了柔润般的改变，完全展示了其柔美润泽的饱满音色精华乃至旋律结束，客户和我的弹奏体验同步产生了共鸣均留下深刻的印象。
