The starry notes of music

The starry notes of music play

And beauty opens up the vistas of the mind,

Leading to the jewelled, golden door,

The sanctuary of the sublime.

And those who seek will find,

When the starry notes of music play,

A garden of sound to remember

That lights our lonely way

For God must love the lonely

To give us this gift of gold,

Music’s vision of a tomorrow

Where the sound of love unfolds.

And whether it’s Schubert or Mozart,

Or another of God’s chosen ones,

The starry notes play on….

And blaze with the fire of the sun.

And every melody that touches the soul,

Is like the firmament of stars on high,

For the dream of love is its essence

And love can never die.
