2015/12/18-19 糊疙瘩（红海度假村）
这两天就是瞎混了，吃喝饱了去晒太阳，晒够了就去睡，起来再吃喝，重复一遍！本来还想到酒店外面去溜达溜达，结果酒店里太舒服了所有俺们几乎木有踏出酒店范围一步。两天基本上都是早上起来吃早饭，之后到沙滩上巡视一圈，回房间查查邮件，换了衣服就到沙滩上去消磨时光。酒店里还雇了几个俄罗斯 美女给客人们组织活动，沙滩排球啊，健身操，瑜伽，乒乓球什么的。问到俺们时，俺们跟她说其他活动俺们回家都可以做，这阳光，温度和沙滩回家不容易弄，还是呆在沙滩上比较物有所值。估计原来俄罗斯 客人很多，现在这大白天的沙滩上没几家人。
酒店设施很齐全，深潜，浮浅，按摩，餐厅，酒吧一应俱全。是个散心的好去处。红海 的水也是清澈碧蓝，一看就让人心广神台！

小宝在实践国际关系，这家母女带着个一岁半的孩子，德国 来的，貌似周围就这俩孩子。她们家还要在此呆三个星期。
金字塔计划，俺们两天一共建了三个金字塔群 - 全套还带上斯芬克斯，效率超高。本来想着卖票让人参观来着。。。

Travel diary day eight/nine 12/18-19
nothing specific to mention about these two days, staying at a nice hotel and relaxing, that's all.
the temperatures in the morning and night were a bit on the chill side especially when it was a bit windy. but during the day with the sun shine it was perfect beach weather. I wouldn't want it any hotter. the hotel was so adequate that we didn't have much of a desire to venture out. I did for one time mention that we should go out to investigate the local places, but I was totally ignored by the two girls.
not many people staying at the hotel, the small beach had plenty lounge chairs and they were barely filled during the day. again, it's really sad to see such a nice hotel going empty, but it was a good deal for us, no need to fight with other guests for spaces.
the hotel employed some Russian girls as activities organizers, guess they were there for the Russian tourists to begin with, we were asked a few times during the day to join the fun: ping-pong, stretching, beach volley ball, etc. we told them that we could do all the activities back home but we wouldn't have a beach with the sun to lie down back home, we had to stick with what was worth more for us... between sun bathing and swimming I spent time building mimic giza pyramids on the beach with my 4 yearold. we did a total of three sets complete with the sphinx. and there were still standing by the time we left - a testament of how few people were there.
two happy days of relaxation from our busy sightseeing itinerary were just wonderful for us. we were to fly back to cairo early morning on 12/20 to do more sightseeing. I asked the hotel about a taxi ride to the airport and was told that it was going to be 90 egp by a hotel limousine and a local taxi would run 60 egp through the hotel. so I declined the hotel help, went out on the street and found a taxi waiting for business. upon inquiring about a ride to the airport early next morning he quoted 60 egp and after one round of negotiation he agreed to 45 egp. what was that. didn't even take down his license plate number. my wife only remembered that there was a number, 13790, printed on his left rear passenger door.
he showed up the next day right on the agreed time and we were at the airport in about 20 minutes - he wasn't driving very fast. there were just one checkup before entering the airport. inside the airport there were three security screenings, once before check-in, once before waiting area, and once before boarding. shoes have to be removed. everything worked out great for us so far! and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Egypt!
