At this moment, Tsai is willing to talk under conditions of equal political level and honor . Sure, there is no problem. But, In reality, It only happens when both sides are having equal military and economical power. But, it is too bad that Taiwan is so weak and mainland is so strong on both. The island's economy is depending on mainland over 45% and getting more as time passes . When it reached 65% the island would loses all it's bargaining power. plus, views from geographically, politically, and historically Taiwan is a province of China. Therefore, It should be dealt with Capital and provincial policy only. But, still, for the best interest of the island, they can get a better deal if they go to the table as soon as possible.         mak
