- 姐姐请看这个: Republicans are primarily against using tax payer money to pay for abortions. Some cross the line too far and are against any type of birth control (to appeal to the religious conservatives, a small (but necessary) element of the party.) One problem they face with this argument, though, is that if they were to support contraception and abortion for the poor, they would be accused of supporting eugenics, or deliberately attempting to prevent poor people from reproducing.
Meistersinger has a very good analysis above. Any of the Republican candidates have a good chance of defeating our failed President in November, as long as they do not defeat themselves. Obama rode a tidal wave of support to a narrow victory in 2008 (52-48% is hardly a landslide by any stretch of the imagination.) With unemployment, the deficit, and gas prices being higher than when he took office, it is going to be very difficult for him to blame Bush for taking the mess he inherited and making it worse. There is a reason America voted to change control in the House of Representatives, because with two lapdogs (pelosi/reid) at the helm, we've been spent into oblivion.
