qionghua: 土豆丝卷饼，鸡蛋卷饼，准备一罐甜面酱涂饼。饼可以买超市现成的墨西哥薄饼。国内来人吃不惯西餐，就想这些。还可以准备些青尖椒。
我刚来美国时曾吃过一种以鸡蛋和马铃薯（煮熟的）为主的salad, 想做一点让国内来客试试，可惜我不知道这salad的名字也没有配方。

- 一天时间要看联合国、博物馆、中央公园和第五大道，时间紧，我才想出午餐到中央公园picnic的主意。这picnic不能像我们平常那样悠哉游哉享受野趣，只能是填饱肚子并到此一游而已，方便为主，吃得好不好就其次了。因陋就简啦，我大慨炒点绿豆粉皮外界水果和矿泉水就忽弄过去了。

- 听起来是potato salad，里面有煮鸡蛋切块，调味汁应该是白的或橙色的，不知对不对。

- 心有灵犀一点通，我确有做sushi的打算，不过是California sushi, 素的，有一点假蟹肉。或者我考虑加煎蛋和一点虾或鱼饼进去，好歹有点蛋白。

- 1. if you decide to go to korean town (32th street b/t b'way and 5th ave), don't take bus. bus in manhattan is extremely slow and you do not have patience. besides, your friends may feel dirty and uncomfortable to get onto a bus full of blacks and hispanics. the subway F train stops right at the cross of korean town with b'way. you may consider F train. if really needed, use a van yellow taxi.
2. central park has a very famous western food restaurant and the environment is extremely nice. you may consider bringing them for dinner. the price is costly, average at least $50 per person if order decent food. (we 4 people went there for breakfast and it cost us $180+ in total. for dinner, it should be much higher, i believe.) the restaurant is called "Tavern on the Green", located at the entrance of Central Park from 6th Ave. google the restaurant name and you will find all the info. its website:

sorry, my info was old-dated. this famous restaurant, called NY city icon, was closed last year.
