Day 1:
Jenny Lake Shuttle Boat to cross the lake and hike to Hidden Falls (thunder & badger獾)
Stay at Signal Mountain Lodge (4:30pm): Lakefront Suite 2nd floor (wonderful views)。
Day 2:
Signal Mountain Summit (great view of the mountain ridges & 山鸡)
Jackson Lake Dam, Ox Band
Jackson Lake Lodge
At Lewis Falls: Coyote running toward Caravan
Stop by Lewis Lake, watching sea gulls catching fish
At Grant Village, see 2 female elks
Near West Thumb, see a Grizzly Mom w. 2 cubs
At West Thumb (WT), touring WT Geyser Basin
Stay at Lake Lodge Cabin (4:30pm)
Dinner at Lake Hotel (good views), see swallows flying in the storm, bisons
Day 3:
On to East Entrance, see great meadows with elks, spouting stream in the lake. Back off (construction)
LeHardy Rapid (Stream with 跳鱼)
At Canyon: Upper Falls. Back from Uncle Tom trail. Artist Point (Lower Falls & Canyon)
Eat at Canyon General Store (decent)
At Norris Geyser Basin, see Steamboat Geyser, the tallest but unpredictable in the world (300-400 ft)
See 2 Bull Elks on the road, barely missed Black bears
From Madison to Old Faithful: Firehole Drive, see Firehole Falls. Fountain Flat Drive. Xmas Rock
Check in Old Faithful Inn (4:30pm), stay at 3043 & 3073 (changed, large w. very good views) at the West Wing (3074 should be quite good too)
Dinner at Old Faithful Lodge 自助餐（很一般）
3 eruptions of the Old Faithful Geyser (including one in Sunset)
Day 4:
Old Faithful to Madison to Norris to Mammoth: Sheepeater Cliff (volcano stone wall & stream), Swan Lake (a pronghorn antelope), Golden Gates, 怪石群
Mammoth: Upper Terrace
Lunch at Grill (crowded)
Wrong direction for a while before heading to Towers: Towers Junction
North Eastern Entrance: 2 bighorn sheep, elks, coyote, pronghorn antelope, miss black bear, Larma Valley (10 miles from the entrance), while has a great view with tons of bisons, river, & glacier mountains)
Towers: Towers Falls
Around Dunraven Pass (8859 ft, 2700m), see Grizzly butts
Back to Old Faithful Inn, dinner there (decent)
Listen to Piano and watch a bison downstairs
Day 5:
第九次看老忠实喷泉爆发
Great Fountain Geyser (wait and see great eruption, Up to100 feet with super- bursts to150 feet. Super-bursts as high as 230 feet have been reported. 9-11 hrs average Intervals)/White Dome at Lower Geyser Basin
Black Basin Geyser
Old Faithful Geyser Lunch in front of the General Store
West Thumb area: the same Grizzly mom with 2 cubs (sleeping, and expected to cross the road)
Check in at Colter Bay Lodge, see a deer.
Hike to Swan Lake (see an Elk and 4 wild geese)
Day 6:
Lake Shore Trail Hiking at Colter Bay
Jackson Lake Lodge (hear the bear attacking story)
Jackson Dam, seeing a black bear eating an elk
Jenny Lake Lodge and scenic loop
