i am working in a pure english environment, being the sole chinese among a division's 46 colleagues (among them, 43 whites). my white colleague from time to time asks me to proofread his writings. good english writing skill is indispensble to my job.
at backchina, i am slowly but steadily refreshing my memory on chinese pinying and have been learning typing chinese here.
