法新社报导，范斯的发言人在当地下午2时40分许透过声明指出：「副总统范斯正在美国大使官邸会见乌克兰总统泽伦斯基。」
据报导，范斯与泽伦斯基今天上午曾在天主教新任教宗良十四世（Pope Leo XIV）就职弥撒上短暂见面，并且握手寒暄。
