作者没有表达要为台湾而战。只是不支持统一，作者认为，这样的结果对西方世界最有利。但是他也没有能力让台湾独立。一个不支持中华民族统一的价值观，无论你是怎样的自由民主，都不会得到中华民族的认可。这样的价值观对中华民族来说不是自由民主的。牺牲中华民族的利益，把你的利益建立在中华民族之上。你认为这个价值观能在中华民族范围内认可吗？

台湾岛就那么点儿。你建台湾宇宙都没用。中国人在管理能力，领导力方面真是很差劲。

This statement has so many mistakes. The simple way to put it is Taiwan is a Chinese property, it should provide interests to the Chinese , not to the Americans. Also, it should be used by the Chinese as frontier against foreign invasion including Americans. But, now the Americans are treating Taiwan as their property, sucking up huge interests including large amount of money out of the island and using it as their frontier against China. It is not right. America should return the island back to the Chinese and make China their best friend. This way America doesn't need any frontiers and focus on rebuilding her economy.           mak

是美国在40年前抛弃台湾，而今才知台湾的重要性，所以应该向世界明示，台湾是美国的核心利益。

问题是台湾完全做不到给外界证明：“民主在台湾是成功的”。 台湾只能证明：“民主在台湾是失败的，只是一个笑话！” 台湾政坛只会恶斗不断，没有政客在乎台湾的经济和民生。再过20年，台湾会跟斯里兰卡水平差不多。
