- Shanghai dialect is the core of Shanghai, without Shanghai dialect then there's no Shanghai culture. If you are not raised in Shanghai, you will never understand the meaning of being Shanghainess. There's something about Shanghai that only we - Shanghainess could understand.
BTW - when I wrote above, I don't mean to look down to any people.
