秦风.蒹葭 原文及注释
蒹葭苍苍[2]，白露为霜[3]。
所谓伊人[4]，在水一方。
溯洄【5】从之，道阻且长；
溯游从之，宛在水中央。
蒹葭萋萋[6]，白露未晞[7]。
所谓伊人，在水之湄[8]。
溯洄从之，道阻且跻[9]；
溯游从之，宛在水中坻[10]。
蒹葭采采[11]，白露未已。
所谓伊人，在水之涘[12]。
溯洄从之，道阻且右[13]；
溯游从之，宛在水中沚[14]。
【注释】
[1] 本诗选自《诗经·秦风》。秦：指春秋时的秦国，故址在陕西、甘肃一带。蒹葭（jiānjiā）：泛指芦苇。
[2] 苍苍：灰白色。
[3] 为霜：凝结成霜。
[4] 伊人：那个人。在这里指诗人所追寻的人。
[5] 溯（sù）洄：沿着弯曲的河道向上游走。
[6] 萋萋：青白色。
[7] 晞：干。
[8] 湄（méi）：水和草交接的地方，也就是岸边。
[9] 跻（jī）：升，高起，指道路越走越高。
[10]坻（chí）：水中小洲或高地。
[11]采采：色彩众多的样子。
[12]涘（sì）水边。
[13]右：迂回曲折。
[14]沚（zhǐ）：水中小沙滩，比坻稍大。
实际上诗歌是不可译的，因为炼字和意象的关系，尤其是古诗的独特语言和格式，翻译出来常常是拖沓无趣的散文，只有理解的功能了。就是中文本身的理解，也是见仁见智，譬如本诗中的“伊人'究竟是男是女都难以判断。
