the first one, "bitter melon" (self-coined word?) is very healthy but tastes bitter. for someone to eat them up smoothly, i think it is better to go along with spicy peppers.
usually, in absence of spicy pepper dish, i would choose Hot Spicy Sauce to help eat "Bitter Melon" up.
