- 我也认为刘娟爱的是郑卫，从一些细节能够感受到的。郑卫这样做，真的是伤了刘娟的心了。为郑卫不再相信爱情感到遗憾，能够理解他的感受，这样的被抛弃和被伤害的经历，很难让人再投入的爱一次，这样对刘娟也是不公平的，不过就爱情而言，也没有公平可言，只能说幸福就好。

- 肖俊杰的策略有问题，首先，他应该把自己摆在一个朋友的位子上，来让刘娟慢慢的接受自己，而不是急于制造浪漫气氛进入二人世界；其实刘娟并不反感他，但是觉得好像对他的优秀条件有点抵触心理，害怕别人认为自己是攀高枝，所以他应该把自己摆低一点，哪怕是装呢，说一说自己的苦恼和郁闷，可能更能拉近和刘娟的距离。一味的靠送花和制造浪漫是很难打动刘娟这样的女孩子的。他当初要是有我这样的参谋，而不是郑卫，可能就没有郑卫什么事了：） 不过谁知道不是郑卫故意不给肖俊杰支好招，把刘娟留给自己 - 那就太高了：）

- In this country, please think yourself as an individual. What one does is his/her personal choice. You do not need to carry a nation or race on your shoulder. Having a white girl/wife may be a status symbol as many successful black men in USA usually do. But why would Zheng Wei having a white girl friend make "oversea Chinese proud"? So, if he does not have a white girl friend, would it make you feel ashamed of him?

you should read the entire story to utter, you know. do not jump into biased opinions on anyone else.

this is truly a naive claim. are you really able to claim you are an individual, unrelated to your origin, your race and your fellow countryman?

- 杨小静有她的缺点，但也有她的优点，至少比很多离婚女要强。吉姆是一个很自信的人，又知道大卫恨小静入骨，自然不会太在乎。

- 她离开郑卫还是很自私的，她自己也明白这一点，所以尽力补偿。这也是她的过人之处。有的女人你要敢骂她一句她恨你一辈子。

- i think zheng wei believes he can get his phd soon if he wants because he has made solid progresses in his research. so, he implies he will or can leave soon if he wants.

one of his promising future at this time is to join Fischer's team as a tenure-track assistant professor or at least as a post-doc. the latter is certainly attainable because Fischer thinks highly of him already.
usually the last year as a phd student is very flexible because he has made enough progresses for his degree and will spend more time on job search. he is ready to defend his thesis once he gets a job offer.
