- yes, i found many hotels are run by indians, from low to high end. low end hotels include travellodge, knights inn, etc. high end hotels include 4-category marriott hotel -- i met once at Bethesda, MD.

however, more and more chinese are entering california hotel market. media has lots of coverage. i stayed at a doubletree hotel for 2 months last year. that doubletree (hilton family) located at foothill blvd, claremont, (los angeles), california, was owned by chinese though its entire management team members are white. had the hotel general manager not told me, i would have no idea it is owned by a chinese. so far, i have never met a high-end hotel run by chinese.
btw, i found many CVS/pharmacy shops are run by indian. is this a trend?
