我爱你 （I Love You)

I love you in a way of feeling hopeless,
As if mice which love rice in a covered jug.
As if ants love honey in a sealed jar,
Such love how can I express?
My love to you lasts long never overnight,
As a small stream flowing far.
As grass on the prairie being played by a single spark,
As spring rain moistening things, then surging like the tide.
Is it my love that makes you feel overwhelmed?
So you start to retreat and run away?
How many people as crazy as me are there in the world?
Is it me who worries about trouble all the way?
Dandelions may be gone at any time with the wind,
But I want to catch your heart tight don't let you go away.
我爱你，爱得这样无奈，
像老鼠爱着缸里的大米。
像蚂蚁爱着罐里的蜂蜜，
这样的爱我如何去表白？
我爱你不是一夜春风来，
是细水长流到天荒地老。
是星星之火离离原上草，
是春雨润物又心潮澎湃。
是否我的热情让你难受？
所以对我开始东躲西逃。
痴情如我世间几个能够？
难道一直是我自寻烦恼？
蒲公英可随时随风飘走，
我想把你的心紧紧抓牢。

(Originally I thought loving a person is to capture his heart and make him love me back. He didn't know that I had a crush on him and then I loved him more than he loved me. He was my first love.
You will feel pain when you love someone who doesn't love you back the way you love him. I wrote this in Chinese first and then translated into English. There are 10 characters in each line of the Chinese version, and the rhyming scheme is abba,abba,cdcdcd )
